North Fork & Knife – Our First Year Favorites
As we wrap up our first full year here at North Fork & Knife, we took a look back at some of our favorite stories.
Here are a few of our best-loved, our readers’ favorites and a few posts you may have missed that we think you might like. (in no particular order)
ALI KATZ KITCHEN: We loved meeting Ali and if you haven’t visited her Mattituck shop to try the delectable sweet and savory treats yet…what are you waiting for?

LIVE MUSIC OPTIONS GROW: The opportunity to hear live music – and report on them every week – has grown rapidly on the East End in the past year or so. Congrats to the The East End Music Alliance, many area vineyards and to restaurants like Green Hill Kitchen and others for bring more music to the North Fork every week. Bravo!

ALDO: Love the coffee, the scones and the man who has such a dedicated following that his popular Greenport cafe led to the swift closure of a Starbucks across the street. But, there is a lot more to Aldo than just a proper cup of coffee and a warm buttery scone.

Cozy Space at The Old Field: We love this cozy intimate space (a restored ice house) for a private gathering on a historic Southold vineyard. The rustic setting and friendly folks at The Old Field always makes us happy.

A Beautiful Story: Lost loves, a message of hope in a beloved Mattituck restaurant, and an incredibly talented local artist. We love this story:

The Coffey House: Meeting Ellie and Rick Coffey was definitely a highlight of our first year at North Fork & Knife. This lovely couple runs a bed and breakfast in a historic farmhouse in East Marion. Take peek inside….
