Industry Standard Closed

Industry Standard in Greenport has closed and will reopen with a new name, menu and vibe.

The restaurant, opened in 2015 by Brian Villanti, was taken over by Christoph and Robin Mueller in 2018. (Villanti went on to open Rocco’s Caddyshack in East Marion.)

The Muellers also bought Green Hill Kitchen (formerly a deli on the corner of Front and First Streets) and Anker (formerly Deep Water Grill) The father and son revamped both those restaurants but kept Industry Standard primarily as it was – a cozy bar serving unique menu items.

Stay tuned for news on the plans for Industry. We hear through the grapevine it will have a Mediterranean theme and nautical name but are awaiting confirmation. Industry Standard closed officially this past weekend and will reopen in late spring.

The trio of restaurants is under the culinary direction of chef Matty Boudreau who took over last year from chef Wolfgang Ban. The theme at Green Hill has shifted from Austrian to BBQ. Anker is a seafood eatery with views across Mitchell Park and the harbor.
