Congrats to the Blue Duck Bakery, which has been serving us pastries, sweet treats and artisan bread for 20 years on the East End.
Keith and Nancy Kouris opened their first bakery on Hampton Road in Southampton Village in 1999. They soon built a popular wholesale business and expanded their retail shops to Southold, Greenport and Riverhead.
The Southampton and Riverhead bakeries closed in recent years. But, the North Fork locations have remained open and are one of the area’s best places to buy sweet baked goods, pastries and, of course, their popular crusty baguettes and other artisan breads. You can also find lunch options.
