Get your tasting spoons ready! The 2020 North Fork Chili Cook-off is slated for Sunday, January 26 at Greenport Harbor Brewing in Peconic starting at noon.
Local chefs and restaurants prepare chili using one of Greenport Harbor’s beers as an ingredient. People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice awards will be announced at 3:30pm.
The competition is judged by local chefs Stephan Bogardus of The Halyard, Cheryl Stair of Art of Eating, Lauren Lombardi of Lombardi’s in Mattituck, Scott Bollman of Bruce and Son, and Doug Gerowski, last year’s GHB employee winner.
Tickets for the Chili Cook off are $20 and include entry and chili samplings. Tickets are only available online. Go to GHB website for more information.
